PLANT DADDY
A shared loft space for plants and their caregiver: a plant daddy who finds joy in caring for greenery, propagation, and creating combinations. We aimed to elevate the small jungle by working with what was on hand—only investing in the necessary pieces to add value to the overall design.
To balance the traditional look of select furnishings, we opted for seating in a contemporary design.
The select purchases included an amber toned velvet chair, with leather straps for armrests and a metal base, along with an affordable nod to the famous RH Cloud sofa, which also fulfilled the fantasy of a napping haven.
A meaningful collection of paintings from a loved one and childhood had similar art mediums and frames, which shone together on the 2-story gallery wall.
Below was a bookcase repurposed as a bar and library hybrid.
A home evolution by giving treasures on hand new life and investing only in impactful pieces conducive to function and aesthetic. The overall space tells stories of the past and exhibits passions of the now, in a curated form of design.
